About me
I design with the reality of how work gets done in mind.
I'm Mayowa, a Product Designer based in Abuja, Nigeria. My background spans industrial design, operations, logistics, procurement, and IT support—experience that helps me see both the interface people use and the system of work behind it.
I became interested in product design through a curiosity about how startups turn difficult problems into useful digital products. Today, I focus on making complex business and operational workflows clearer, more practical, and easier to act on.

How I work
Context first, then clarity.
01
Understand reality
Learn how people, processes, and constraints currently fit together before deciding what to design.
02
Structure the problem
Turn scattered requirements into a clear journey, hierarchy, and set of decisions the product must support.
03
Make and examine
Use interfaces and prototypes to make assumptions visible, then identify what still needs evidence or testing.
Background
Design grounded in operational experience.
Before concentrating on digital products, I worked across operations management, client booking, supply-chain logistics, procurement, and technical support. That experience shaped my interest in products that improve business operations and make everyday work easier to understand.
Education and interests
Industrial Design, then digital products.
I earned a B.Tech in Industrial Design from the Federal University of Technology, Akure in 2018. I'm particularly interested in financial access, operational tools, and products designed for African realities.
Outside design, I enjoy reading, travelling, and playing piano.
